I can't believe it. I am honored to say...I am one of three teachers nominated for Teacher of the Year (TOTY). It's a little overwhelming...I'm just so new. All of the hot pink ballots are sitting in the teachers boxes tonight and the official voting starts tomorrow. They will announce the winner early next week. I'll keep you posted on this results. I'm just beaming with excitement. :)
There is a bakery in Alvin that sales cake balls. They are so delicious and each month their price goes up. I recently discovered how to make them...YES!!! It's so easy I had to share. Please write back if you try them. I'd love to read your thoughts and combination of flavors. My first batch was....as you can see...all chocolate. I'd love to try strawberry next. Enjoy!
Yes, we have a new addition to our family..... Diesel. He is the cutest Great Dane pup. His color is called merle, that is silver and gray and his eyes are blue. He was my special purchase from Canton. He was 5 weeks old and honestly acts just like a new born. We are up during the night and having to teach and train him in every way. We sure do love our new puppy!
I had a great Valentine's Day. It was a totally relaxed day at home, no rushing around, just playing at home with my sweet family. I got chocolates in a great heart box, a perfect "Jarrod" Valentine's card and an ipod nano....it's pink and I LOVE IT! I downloaded 9 songs. This can be so addicting. Here are my 1st selections:
It was our 5th annual girls weekend. It's the best trip and I look forward to it every year. If we can't work it out to go in February, we plan our trip in October, if that's the case we call it "Shop Till You Fall". Either way, it so fun. Our crew: Kim, Lacy, Jodi, Mom, Aunt Lainey, Aunt Linda, Grandmommie, Stephanie, Taleah, Dad and Toby. The weekend consist of laughing, playing, eating and shopping in Canton. My treasures from Canton, I bought a super huge black tin shelf, a cool black cross shirt and a Great Dane Puppy! (more on that purchase later).
Jarrod got a job! He was hired by Enterprise Advisory Services, Inc. (EASI) Friday, Jan. 30, and started the following Monday Feb.2. We are all so thankful for his new position. His office is located in Houston off of Hillcroft. The good news...the company is thinking about moving their offices to Clear Lake to be closer to NASA their biggest client. How awesome would that be! Thank you all for your prayers and support.
