A night at the ballet.

Taylor and I were invited to see the Nutcracker with our sweet friends Robyn and Lauren. It was a fantastic night. Taylor must have said I love you mommy 100 times. Bless her little heart...she had no other words to describe how beautiful, awesome and special the night was.I think we will definitely make this a Christmas tradition!! I sure did enjoyed sharing the evening with my sweet sugar plum fairy!

I love school....

My favorite time of the school year is during the holiday's. There are so many fun activities and events for everyone! I got to be Santa's little helper again this year but this time it was two days. I help coordinate the students for Santa pictures. The students just laugh and smile at me all day long. They ask me... "aren't you my art teacher" and I will say "sugar of course I am but I'm also one of Santa's many helpers". ;) They are so funny. This year my principal and assistant principal gave teachers the 12 days of Christmas. It was so fun coming to school to see what they had planned. The many gifts included: 12 days of jean's, coco and cookies, breakfast, nachos, ice cream sundaes, slipper day, bring your Christmas Spirit day and many more. I dressed up as a present for Christmas spirit day. This time my students asked "where are your arms, what's inside of the box and how did you get in there". It was fun and as always...I'm looking forward to next years activities and events!!

All I want for Christmas is....

I have to say our daycare rocks!! The picture people came to take Santa photos. Yes, at the daycare!! Their were no long lines, no crying babies... it was totally stress free!! And the pictures, well they are so sweet. They also invited Santa back last Saturday so we could have breakfast with him. This is a picture from breakfast. You can see the kids LOVE Santa.

Celebrated at the Lob...

We meet up with the family Friday, December 4th, at Red Lobster to celebrate Lacy and CJ's 10th Anniversary. They had planned to take the kids this summer. I believe the story goes...Brent saw a Red Lobster commercial and begged CJ to take him so he could eat crab legs. As you can see by Lacy's picture, we had a good time. And Brent well he finaly got those crab legs.

Happy Birthday Gram...

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, my grandmother celebrated her 80th Birthday. We had a small party at her house with family and friends. She was so pretty and had that sweet smile on her face the entire day. We love you Grandmommie!!

Love Birds.

Mom and Dad celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on November 8th. Mom and Dad met on the bus to school. Mom was 12, Dad was 15. They married in the fall of '69. Mom planned the wedding while dad was away finishing his tour of duty in Vietnam. They are a sweet example of true love!
